Believe it or not, I didn’t grow up outdoorsy OR with dogs (gasp!) I discovered my love for both later in my 20s, and I’ve never looked back. Since adding Willow to the pack in 2018, we’ve hiked miles of trails, explored mountains, beaches and everything in between, and strengthened our bond with every adventure.
As someone who used to dream about leaving NY and never looking back, I’ve grown to love my state through all of the memories we’ve made together. Now my mission is to inspire you to get out there with your dogs – whether you’re driving across the country or playing in your own backyard – because adventures really are better with dogs.

Our philosophy for dog-friendly travel
I love traveling with my dogs, but I know that not every adventure is well suited to every pup. As a reactive dog guardian, I’m always looking for off-the-beaten-path spots and quiet stays for those who need a little more space. Wherever possible, I include details to help you plan the best trip for your dog, whatever their needs are. I’m also passionate about responsible recreation and making sure we keep these amazing places dog-friendly for years to come.
We believe in Leave No Trace, only visiting places where dogs are allowed and respecting the space of task-trained service dogs. I include details like leash laws and dog-related rules in my posts, but always encourage you to do your own research and confirm places are dog-friendly before bringing your pup!
